American Broadcasting School, founded in 1970, has taken
the same high quality broadcast training that we provide at our four
land-based campuses and put the entire 43-week, nationally-accredited
program on the Web. Now anyone with a computer and a high-speed connection
can learn how to be become a professional broadcaster without even leaving
home! You'll learn everything you need to know to pursue self-employment as
a voice talent or real on-air work at radio stations across the country.
Almost immediately, you'll be broadcasting over the internet and receiving
feedback from professional, experienced instructors. You'll get
state-of-the-art software just like you might find in a commerical radio
station.
Programs: ABS offers one broadcasting program with courses in:
- Broadcast Theory
- Air Shifts
- Digital Production
- Copywriting
- Newscasting
- Programming
Admissions: Enrollment is ongoing and students can start on any Monday.
Cost: The total tuition for the 10-month program is $11,125. All books,
training software, and materials are furnished by the school.
Financial Aid: Financial Aid is available to students who qualify, including federal grants & loans. We also offer monthly installment plans through the school.
